BHADARWAH: Five persons got injured when a van skidded off the road and fell into deep gorge at Bagger area of Bhadarwah.
According to eyewitnesses, around 6:30 AM, a van bearing registration No JK06-7578 on its way from Jammu to Doda skidded off the road and fell into deep gorge at Bagger near Goswami Hotel 34 Km from Doda on Batote-Doda-Kishtwar NHW.
After hearing about the accident, pedestrians and hotel owners of the area rushed to ill fated vehicle and rescued all the five injured persons and shifted them to Primary Health Centre (PHC) Assar.
The injured have been identified as Zahida Begum (55) wife of Gh. Hussain resident of Udhampur,Tafreeqa Begum (25) wife of Shahid Hussain resident of Gandoh, Ashiq Hussain (25) years son of Abdul Aziz resident of Gandoh, Shahid Hussain (22) son of Patvaz Hussain resident of Gandoh and Sadam Hussain (21) son of Qaramat Ali resident of Gandoh.
