SAMBA: Police on Tuesday arrested four persons and recovered 158 nips of excise liquor from his possession.
According to a report, a police team headed by Inspector Satish Kumar, SHO Police Station Ramgarh and officials of District Special Branch, Samba under the supervision of S. S Sambyal, Dy. SP SDPO Vijaypur nabbed accused person Sohan Lal son of Hans Raj resident of Chumbian, Ramgarh and recovered 50 nips of excise liquor from his possession, while he was selling the same illegally on exorbitant rates in village Chumbian Ramgarh.
A case under FIR No. 72/2014 section 48 Excise Act was registered with Police Station Ramgarh and investigation started.
Meanwhile three persons identified as Jagdish Singh son of Ramditta resident of village Ghara Ramnagar , Ashok Kumar son of Thakur Dass resident of village Badhole Teh. Ramnagar and Vijay Kumar son of Nasiv Chand resident of Badhole Teh . Ramnagar were arrested and 108 frooties were recovered from their possession. A case under FIR no. 105/14 section 48/A Excise Act was registered at Police Station Ramnagar.
