RAJOURI: As a part of special drive against burglars, Rajouri Police busted a burglar racket by arresting four burglars and recovered stolen property on their disclosure.
As per the details, acting on specific information, SHO Police Station Rajouri Inspr. Chaman Gorkha under the supervision of Dy.SP Hqrs. Rajouri Hamid Choudhary on direction of SSP Rajouri Atul Sharma, conducted raids at different location in Rajouri town and arrested three burglars namely Asif Malik son of Farooq Malik resident of Bela Colony Rajouri, Mohd Zahoor son of Mohd Shakoor resident of Bela Colony Rajouri and Sajjid Sheikh son of Nazir Sheikh resident of Kheora Rajouri involved in case vide FIR No. 423/2015 under section 457/380, FIR No. 708/2016 under section 379 RPC and FIR No. 724/2016 under section 457/380 RPC of Police Sttaion Rajouri and recovered one LCD, two mobiles, one cycle, one laptop.
Similarly, one another burglar has also been arrested namely Mohd Anwar son of Mohd Shafi resident of Sarnoo Rajouri involved in case vide FIR No.696/2016 under section 379 RPC and recovered eight GI pipes of PHE department. Some more recoveries of stolen property have been affected i.e three motorcycles in case vide FIR Nos. 155/2016, 496/2016 and 695/2016 under section 379 RPC of Police Sttaion Rajouri in which search of the accused is going on. Besides this one Alto car and pulsar motorcycle was also seized under section 550 CrPC.
