JAMMU: Volleyball Association of J&K (VAJK) in collaboration with J&K Sports Council is all set to host three day 3rd South Kashmir Volleyball Championship for men and women at Indoor Stadium Bijbehara, district Anantnag from October 23 to 25, 2024.
“The championship would be an eye opener for volleyball lovers of the Union Territory of J&K to witness the latest techniques/talents of the Volleyball players,” Chief Executive Officer VAJK, Kuldip Magotra said.
“During the Championship various aspects of My Youth My Pride, Drug de-addiction, save water etc. would be focused among the youth in general and volleyball players in particular,” he added.
In this South Kashmir volleyball Championship 12 teams for men and women and as many as 300 players/officials are participating from 4 districts of Kashmir province i. e. Anantnag, Kulgam, Shopian and Pulwama, Magotra said adding that the Championship will be played on league cum knockout basis as per rules of VFI.
“Association shall provide free Boarding/ lodging and transport facilities to the teams and officials during the Championship,” he said.
