SAMBA: At least 37 persons were injured, 15 of them critically, when an overcrowded vehicle they were travelling in turned turtle in Samba district on Sunday.
As per the details, a Matador (JK08AB-8008) coming from Surara to Kootah Morh turned turtle near Patyari (in Samba district) resulting in 37 passengers got injured and all were rushed to different nearby Hospitals (Ghagwal and Samba) by local peoples from where around 15 were referred to GMC Jammu. The injured were identified as Pawan Sharma (33) son of Sat Paul resident of Chhan Morian, Tinku Sharma (22) son of Sukhdev resident of Sandhi, Dimple (14) son of Darshan resident of Garha, Manish (12) son of Vijay Kumar resident of Harsath, Roshan (18) son of Chaman Lal resident of Sandhi, Chanden Sharma (18) son of Om Prakesh resident of Raguchack, Rakesh son of Dharm Paul resident of Harsath all brought to Ghagwal Hospital; while Rita Devi (40) wife of Romesh resident of Samthyal, Raj Kumar (43) son of Jotuo resident of Kootah, Omkar (32) son of Krishan resident of Samthyal, Balakar Singh (35) son of Ram Singh resident of Surara, Sindhu Rajput (13) daughter of Jotuo Balakar resident of Surara, Subam (14) son of Jemal resident of Surara, Raj (32) son of Darwari resident of Surara, Rupali Sharma (24) daughter of Sohan Lal resident of Ratwana, Kanch Sharma (19) son of Sudesh resident of Katal, Nisha wife of Ravi resident of Kootah, Neha Sharma (25) wife of Ram Kumar all referred to GMC from DH Samba; Amit (20) son of Ashok resident of Surara, Naryan (19) so of Bashmber resident of Surara, Arjun (12) son of Swarn Singh resident of Surara, Vikas son of Om Prakash resident of Surara, Raj Kumar (18) son of Preetam Kumar resident of Ratwana brought to Hiranagar Hospital from where Amit , Naryan and Arjun were referred to GMC Jammu.
