33rd North Zone Level Volleyball Tournament begins

UDHAMPUR: 33rd North Zone Level Volleyball Tournament was inaugurated by Vidya Bharti and Bharatiya Shiksha Samiti, Jammu and Kashmir at Bharatiya Vidya Mandir High School Udhampur, here on Thursday .
The tournament in which 15 schools from 5 states (Delhi, Punjab, Haryana, Himachal and Jammu & Kashmir) are participating was inaugurated by the Chief Guest, Dr. Vinod Kumar, Senior Police Officer of District Udhampur.
Bal Krishna (Seh Sangathan Mantri Vidya Bharti Uttarkestra), Mal Khan Singh (Kestra Khel kud Sanyojak), Ramesh Bamotra (Vidya Bharti Uttakestra Seh Sanyojak) and Kishor Chauhan (Keshtra Pramukh), Suresh Parihar (Seh Mantri), Pardeep Tripathi (Prant Nirakshak), Sameer Krishan (Office Secretary), Kuldeep Raj (Khel Kud Sanyojak) besides Dr. Yogeshwar Gupta (President Municipal Committee Udhampur), Advocate Amit Sharma (DDC Majalta), Rakesh Sharma (DDC Ghordi), School Management Committee member Mamchand, Advocate Anil Khajuria, Ashok, Nand Kishore (Kisan Morcha Prant Prabhari), Udayveer Singh (President Association of Industries), DDC Councillor Vikram Salathia, Rakesh Khajuria, Anil Arora and Chaman Gorkha SHO Udhampur were also present.
A total of 300 players of different category, Bal Verg Kishore Verg and Tarun Verg are introduced by the Principal of the host school, Renu Sharma.
The guests were welcomed by giving mementoes by Arun Gupta (BSS Patron) and President Bhartiya Vidya Mandir Udhampur, Sunil Badyal.
Vinod Kumar apprised the children about sports and also made them aware of the various schemes of the Government of India such as the drug free scheme, in which he told that the drug free scheme whose only goal is to channelize the energy of the children in the right path.
A colourful programme was presented by the children of the host school.
