30 stolen sheep, goats recovered, 2 thieves arrested

SUNDERBANI: Police on Friday arrested two thieves and recovered 30 stolen sheep and goats on their disclosure.
According to a report, a party of Police Station Kalakote led by SHO Inspector Parmod Singh under the supervision of Addl.SP Nowshera Atul Sharma and over all supervision SSP Rajouri Rajeshwar Singh constituted a team headed by SI Novneet Verma arrested two persons namely Javaid Ahmad son of Ali Mohd and Mohd Ishq son of Mohd Bashir both residents of Chattipura Shopian. They had stolen 30 sheep/goats from Beragoa Kalakote and loaded them in vehicle 407 (7914 /JK 14A). On questioning the said persons revealed that the 30 goats have been stolen by them and they also disclosed their further planning of transporting the stolen animals to Kashmir via Udhampur and dispose-off there.
The vehicle has been seized and stolen animals has been recovered. A case vide FIR No. 14/2016 under section 380 RPC has been already registered in Police Station Kalakote .
