KISHTWAR: Three persons died on the spot while two others got critically injured when the car they were travelling in plunged into a deep gorge near Kandni area of Kishtwar District on Sunday.
“A car (JK02AP-9605),on its way from Thatri to Kandni, plunged into a deep gorge as driver of the vehicle lost control over it” SHO Kishtwar Sameer Jeelani said adding that three persons died on the spot two others sustained serious injuries. They were rushed to District Hospital Kishtwar.
The deceased have been identified as Kewal Kishore, Shadi Lal and Satish Kumar, all residents of Kandni whereas the injured Jugal Kishore and Gopin Nath of Kandni are under treatment.
Police has registered a case in this regard.
