DODA: Police on Tuesday seized 45 illicit timber scants and arrested three persons in two separate raids.
According to a report, based on reliable information, a party of Police Station Thathri led by SI Ravi Parihar, SHO Police Station Thathri conducted raid in villages Kotana Chrialla and seized five illicit timber logs from one Parvez Ahmed son of Abdul Razak Lone resident of Kotana, 15 illicit timber scants from Roshan Din son of Noor Mohd Lone resident of Kotana Chiralla respectively. A case under FIR No. 29/2015 sections 379 RPC, 6 Forest Act was registered at Police Station Thathri and accused persons have been taken into custody for further investigation.
Besides, a party of Police Station Thathri also seized 25 scants of Deodar from Mushtaq Ahmed son of Bashir Ahmed resident of Kotana Chiralla. A case under FIR No. 30/2015 section 6 Forest Act stands registered at Police Station Thathri and accused person has been taken into custody for further investigation.
