2nd Masters Inter State Series cricketers call on LG

JAMMU: Cricketers, who were in Jammu City to participate in the 2nd Masters Inter State Cricket Championship, called on Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha at Raj Bhawan, here on Tuesday.
The Cricketers including Sukhdev Singh Ghuman Captain, Dinesh Sharma Vice Captain of MP Superstars and Rajesh Gill former Ranji player and Captain of J&K Horizon Stars apprised the Lieutenant Governor about the championship and its objective being covered under the 2nd J&K Masters Inter State Cricket Championship.
Rajesh Gill also apprised the Lieutenant Governor that the organizers are aiming to invite International Cricket team in the month of April, 2024 for organizing the T20 matches and one day matches at Jammu and Indore (MP) and the support & guidance from the administration shall be highly solicited for the smooth conduct of the event at Jammu.
The Lieutenant Governor, while appreciating the cricketers for their efforts in promotion of cricket, assured all support of the administration for furthering the cause of sports.
The visiting delegation also expressed gratitude to Lieutenant Governor for the support provided by the J&K Sports Council to various sporting initiatives at the community level.
