JAMMU: Jammu to meet Kathua in boys section in the final of three-day 28th J and K State Volleyball Championship (Boys and Girls) being organised by Volleyball Association of J and K in collaboration with J and K State Sports Council at Volleyball Courts, MA Stadium, here. Earlier in semifinals played on Sunday in boys section, Kathua boys beat Samba by 3-0 (25-21, 25-21, 25-16) and Jammu outplayed Ganderbal by 3-0 (25-13, 22-16, 25-09).
In girls’ section, Samba reached final by defeating Udhampur 3-0 (25-21, 25-22, 25-09) in the first semifinal. ). Other semifinal shall be played between Jammu and Srinagar tomorrow, followed by the final.

GIRLS Quarterfinals: Samba beat Kathua 2-0 (25-19, 25-19); Jammu defeated Ganderbal 2-0 (25-14, 26-24); Udhampur beat Baramulla 2-0 (25-15, 25-21); Srinagar defeated Budgam 2-0 (25-05, 25-09).
The finals of both sections will be played tomorrow from 2:30 PM onwards.
