JAMMU: Police on Friday arrested three drug peddlers and recovered 25 Kgs poppy straw from their possession.
According to report, Gangyal Police laid a surprised Naka at Kunjwani Chowk and intercepted three pedestrian. On search of their belongings, police recovered 25 Kgs poppy straw (Bukhi) from their possession. In this regard, a case under relevant sections was registered at Police Station Gangyal and further investigation of the case is going on. The arrest and recovery was made by SI Nayat Ali, SHO Police Station Gangyal under the supervision of SDPO City South, Rafiq Manhas and SP City South, Sandeep Choudhary, IPS.
