DODA: State Bank of India has trained 24 local women in dress designing for which a twenty day course was organised here at Rural Self Employment Training Institute (RSETI) Doda from 14th May.
The trainees were provided certificates by Deputy Commissioner, Doda Bhupinder Kumar-the Chief Guest at the valedictory function held here on Monday.
The DC urged them to use the new acquired skills for income generation and self employment. He also lauded the efforts of Director RSETI Naseeb Chand Sambyal and supporting staff for conducting the programme. He stressed that more and more people should come forward to avail the opportunity provided by the RSETI and get themselves enrolled here for different training courses.
Director RSETI assured the participants that banks would provide necessary financial assistance as per the requirements of the enterprise and the banking norms.
