22 cadets of Sainik School Nagrota clear UPSC-NDA written exam

JAMMU: Around 22 cadets of the current batch of class XII from Sainik School Nagrota passed the National Defence Academy (NDA) and Naval Academy Examination (II) 2015 held by the Union Public Service Commission on 27th September, 2015.
A total of 45 cadets from the school were among lakh of candidates who had appeared in the examination from all over the country.
By virtue of clearing the written examination, the 22 cadets have qualified to appear in the interview conducted by the Service Selection Board (SSB) of the Ministry of Defence for entry into the officer cadre of the Armed Forces through NDA-136th course and Naval Academy 98th course.
Col K.D Koushal, Principal, Sainik School Nagrota congratulated the cadets and the entire team of staff for achieving excellent result in the UPSC-NDA written examination and stated the meticulous planning followed by dedicated and sincere efforts by one and all has brought desired results.
The principal also mentioned that Sainik School Nagrota provides an ideal grooming ground to cadets and develops them as balanced personalities through a variety of academic and co-curricular activities.
He expressed hope that the qualities of mind, body and character acquired by
cadets in the school will enable them to clear SSB Interview successfully.
The successful cadets from Sainik School Nagrota are Shahil Kumar, Tushar Sharma, Aaqib Khursheed Lone, Namkha Dorjey, Shubham Sharma, Arjun Khajuria, Saqib Gulzar, Salman Mehmood Dar, Shahid Nazir, Vishal Thappa, Bhawani Singh, Gurvinder Singh, Mayank Kumar, Ankush Parihar, Vishal Singh, Neelmani Dixit, Nishant Kumar, Manas Pratap Singh, Rahul Kumar, Sandeep Chahal, Rahul Sharma and Ashish Kumar.
