JAMMU: A Belt Grading Test was held on 6th of Dec, 2014 at Modern Academy, Talab Khatikan, here by Renmei Goju Ryu Karate-Do Federation of India under the supervision of Sanjeev Dewan, Chief Instructor and Rajinder Kumar, 2nd Dan Black Belt.
In the test, many Karatekas appeared and participated and 21 Karatekas successfully passed this test in various cadres.
The successful candidates in 9th Kyu Category include Charu Mehra, Nikhil Mehra, Arjun Jungral, Mohit Raina, Sahil Kumar, Taman Mehra, Kritika, Shahid Ali, Aamir Nazir, Muskan Salaria, Shafia Akhter, Sntha Jamba, Yash Kumar, Rohan Sharma, Kashish Mehra, Bhoomi Mehra, Sadia Naik, Asma Farooq, Kunal and Banshi.
Sanjeev Dewan and Chairperson of Modern Academy Parveen Gupta praised all the participants and lauded their performance. Certificates to best Karatekas were also awarded.
Principal of Modern Academy, S.S Gupta and Vice Principal, Bavnesh Gupta also appreciated the participants and congratulated them.
