BHADARWAH: Police on Monday arrested two timber smugglers and recovered 18 Devdar sleepers from their possession. According to a report, on a specific information a police party from Bhaderwah Police Station led by SI Zahir Ahmed raided Shapan Forests Bhaderwah and arrested two timber smugglers namely Imityaz Ahmed son of Mehraj Din resident of Shapan and Mohd Latif son of G.M Qadir resident of Shapan along with stolen 18 Devdar sleepers. A case vide FIR No 80/2016 under section 379 RPC and 6 Forest Act was registered against both. Whole operation was supervised by SDPO Bhaderwah .
