2 arrested with 84 liquor pouches

MANWAL: Police on Tuesday arrested two bootleggers and recovered 84 pouches of liquor in two incidents.
According to report, a police party from Manwal police post led by Incharge PP Tribhawan Khajuria arrested one person namely Ashok Kumar son of Bodh Raj resident of Jindrah Manwal Jammu along with 50 pouches of liquor. A case under FIR No. 66/2015 Section 48 (a) Excise Act was registered against the arrested accused.
The arrest was made under the supervision of SHO Police Station Jhajjar Kotli Hilal Azhar and SDPO Nagrota Bharat Bhushan Sharma and Incharge SSP Jammu Rajiv Pandey.
In another incident, on a specific information a Police Party from Thathri arrested one Rajesh Kumar son of Prem Chand resident of Neeju Tehsil Kishtwar, recovered 34 pouches of illicit liquor and two Beer cans during a Naka at Kolian bridge. A case under FIR No. 44/15 Section 48-A Excise Act was registered against accused person at Police Station Thathri.
