Launch of PLSV-C34

Dear Editor,
Hats off to the ISRO scientists for successfully launching PLSV-C34 carrying 20 satellites include 17 foreign satellites in a single mission from the launching pad of Satish Dhawan Space Centre, Sriharikota thereby surpassing their earlier record and creating a new one. In 2008 they successfully delivered 10c satellites into earth’s orbit. By this feat, India has joined the select elite few countries like Russia and US who have the capacity, infrastructure and technology to put multiples satellites into an earth orbit in one go. This is in fact a big leap for our space programme and credit goes exclusively to our scientists at ISRO who are working day and night to make further inroads and advancement in country’s space mission. They are in fact working wonders in the field of space raising nation’s standing in the eyes of world. Keeping into view the commercial viability of the space mission, this is a big leap towards furthering the space mission. Launching 20 satellites in one go has upped India’s potentiality and credibility in the international arena that could be successfully marketed in the multi-billion dollar space launch market. We know, today is an age of computer and information technology and for this, the space missions have a tremendous role to play. Our dedicated scientists by embarking on new intentional paths and discoveries have been contributing immensely to ease humankind’s life on earth planets. Space missions have a great role to play in our computer, IT, social, economic, education, health, banking, railways and civil aviation sectors ushering in a sort of revolution all around. This is indeed their monumental accomplishment and the whole nation is joining them in their movements of jubilation and congratulating them on achieving of this rare feat. The advancement in space technology will further bring out change in the lifestyle and pattern of the people. This will enable our scientist to further probe the mysteries of nature and use that know how for the good of making especially to provide shield against natural calamities like earthquakes and tsunamis etc that cause lot of devastation.
