17th Kashmir Body Building Championship concludes

SRINAGAR: The 17th Kashmir Body Building and 7th Men’s Physique Sports Championship concluded on November 17, 2024, at Tagore Hall in Srinagar.
Organized by the District Srinagar Body Building Association under the patronage of the Body Building Association of J&K (BBAJK) and the J&K Sports Council, the event witnessed enthusiastic participation from over 100 Body Builders from various districts.

The championship was graced by distinguished guests, including Tanveer Sadiq, MLA, who attended as the Chief Guest. Rajesh Dutta, President of BBAJK, and Feroz Shah, General Secretary of the Kashmir Body Building Association, were also present to support and motivate the participants.
Rajesh Dutta praised the participants for their energy and dedication, urging them to spread awareness about the dangers of drug abuse and advocate for a healthy and active lifestyle.
The judging panel for the event included prominent figures such as Sanjay Bali, Sajad Khan, and Azhar, who assessed the participants’ performances.
Feroz Shah expressed his gratitude to all the participants, guests, and officials, delivering a heartfelt vote of thanks for contributing to the championship’s success.
In the results, Salim claimed the title of Mr. Kashmir 2024, along with a cash prize of Rs 11,000, while Fitrat was declared the Men’s Physique Sports Champion.
The event was a remarkable display of strength, discipline, and sportsmanship, with officials like Reyaz and Sajjad Khan playing key roles in the smooth execution of the championship.
