JAMMU: JK College of Education observed World Environment Day on Monday by conducting a series of activities.
NSS volunteers carried out a rally to Bandhurakh. Many volunteers wrote colourful slogans giving a message of importance of healthy environment and to save water. They also went to Botanical Garden. The theme was ‘Save Water, Save Future’. Programme Officer Neelam Mahajan delivered lecture on Ayurvedic Medicinal Plants.
Shashi Chaudhary, Principal of the College, applauded the efforts of the students and urged them to spread awareness about cleaner and greener environment as well as indispensability of water.
