KATHUA: DIG Jammu Kathua Samba Range, Ashkoor Ahmed Wani took stock of crime situation at Police Station Kathua and directed officers to expedite the crime disposal and strive hard to maintain law and order situation.
Wani held a public meeting wherein citizens of Kathua town witnessed the welfare activities undertook by Police under Civic Action Programme (CAP). Supervisory Officer, SHO Police Station and all the investigating officers of the police station were also preseet.
People also projected their problems pertaining to police. DIG JKS Range assured them full cooperation for the early redressal of their issues.
DIG JKS Range while addressing the gathering laid stress on strengthening police public relations for the betterment of society. DIG JKS Range along with other officers also distributed refreshments to the students.
Later, Wani inaugurated the water coolers along purifier at Government Higher Secondary School Kathua which was donated under Civic Action Program (CAP).
DIG, SSP Kathua Neeva Jain, SO to DIG Rajneesh Pran, Addl. SP Kathua Khalil Poswal, Dy SP Hqrs Ajay Sharma, Principal Government Girls Higher School Kathua Sunita Sambyal, other police officers, school staff members including students were also present.
