RAJOURI: Going tough against the employees of Education Department showing dereliction of duty, Chief Education Officer Rajouri has suspended 17 employees in Kotranka, Khawas and Bal Jarallan Zone whereas Zonal Education Officer (ZEO) Kotranka has also been served show cause notice for unauthorised absence from duty.
According to a report, after a letter was received by CEO Office Rajouri from Deputy Commissioner Office, where it has been informed that only two employees were found present in ZEO Office Kotranka during surprise inspection with directions from DC Rajouri for taking action against the office staff, Chief Education Officer Rajouri Abdul Hamid Fani has placed under suspension the absent staff of ZEO Office who include Senior Assistant Shabir Hussain, Sweeper Saleem Ullah, Physical Education Teacher Mohammad Iqbal and Class IV employees Ishari Singh, Mohammad Amin, Mohammad Sadiq and Abdul Gafoor. ZEO Kotranka was also served explanation notice as, he was also found unauthorisedly absent.
Whereas during the inspection by a team of education Department at PS Pathkothi, ReET regularised Teacher Maneeza Begum has been suspended and ReT Teacher Mohammad Aslam has been served with termination notice. Three teachers of Government Middle School Kochajja namely Master Mohammad Iqbal has been suspended while termination notices served to ReT Rabia Akhter and ReT Nusrat Jabeen. In Government Primary School Sujjan Hill, which was found closed during surprise inspection, disengagement notices have been served to two ReTs namely Ghulam Shah and Safia Begum while in Government Middle School Sujjan Hill, which was also found closed during surprise inspection, ZEO Kotranka has been asked to provide ZRC duty slip of Teacher Mohammad Ashraf and properly sanctioned medical leave of Master Sajjad Mir while disengagement notice has been served to ReT teacher Shazia Koser.
Similarly Teacher Shamim Akhter posted in Government Middle School Jalanmang has been suspended whereas concerned ZEOs have been asked to provide ZRC duty slips of teachers namely Mohammad Shakil posted in Government Primary School Baranwali, Mohammad Maneer in Government Primary School Kandra and Mohammad Aslam in Government Middle School Kanra.
In Government High School Ladyote of zone Bal Jarralan, three Masters namely School Headmaster Saleema Akhter, Shaheen Bibi and Faiz Hussain Shah have been placed under suspension and order has been forwarded to Director School Education for confirmation. Besides this taking a strong note of the closure of Government Primary School Doonga Draman, during surprise inspection by Principal Higher Secondary School Samote, CEO Rajouri has suspended two Teachers namely Nasreen Akhter and Shabina Akhter as both are unauthorisedly absent from duty while suspended Teacher Shabina Akhter is not coming to school since long. Similarly Teacher Paramjot Kour posted in Government Primary School Chatroon Khawas has been suspended for her unauthorised absence from duty since five days.
