Mankotia seeks Rs 20 lakh compensation to family

KISHTWAR: President, Jammu and Kashmir National Panthers Party (JKNPP), Balwant Singh Mankotia demanded Rs 20 lakh compensation to the family of Shaheed Krishan Lal, who laid down his life while serving nation at Keran Sector in Kashmir two days back. Mankotia attended cremation of Shaheed Krishan Lal at his native village Dharsarood of District Kishtwar. Mankotia also met Swami Raj, father of Shaheed Krishan Lal and conveyed his heartfelt condolences from Panthers Party and also prayed God to rest the departed soul in peace.
“Krishan Lal was only brother of four sisters in the family and whole family was very happy when he joined army about one and half years back but when I heard the news that my son is no more and he has lost his life for nation it was most shocking news for whole family,” Swami Raj told Mankotia.
