JAMMU: All Migrant Camps Coordination Committee (APMCC) threatened the State as well as Central Government to release ex-gratia to Kashmiri Pandit (KP) migrants, who houses were damaged from 1990 to 2000 in the Valley, within short period on the pattern of flood victims otherwise they will start hunger strike in front of Parliament in coming days.
“We want complete share from the State Government budget from the quota of Kashmir Valley either it will be employment, trade, railway, tourism, municipality and Panchyat from other related departments,” APMCC President, Desh Rattan Pandita told reporters, here on Saturday.
“We would move our agitation from all camps of Jammu to Union Capital and other states to divert the attention of Central Government and the world towards our plights” he asserted.
APMCC also demanded for solving of all pending cases in all departments on priority basis, political reservation in both Houses of J and K Legislature, one job to one family and concession in KAS and IAS, enhancement of cash relief on yearly basis, construction of new shrines/temples on their original places in Valley and Panchayats in exile in all camps/non camps.
Desh Rattan also demanded 70 per cent concession in electricity/water bills for those migrants which are living on rent basis.
