PDP strives for peace with dignity for people: Hamid

STATE TIMES NEWS
JAMMU: Remembering late Chief Minister Mufti Mohammad Sayeed for his untiring efforts in helping people of J and K State live in an era of peace and development, Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) leader, Abdul Hamid Choudhary on Sunday said that with party chief Mehbooba Mufti taking over as first woman chief minister of J and K State a new dawn will be herald here.
The PDP, he said strives for peace with dignity for people of J and K State and that agenda will be carried forward at all costs. He said Mufti Sayeed’s unfinished agenda will be carried forward and those forces who are inimical to peace will be proved wrong. PDP has already expressed its faith in the leadership of Mehbooba Mufti and elected her as leader of the Legislature Party (LP) paving way for her to become first woman CM of the State.
The ‘Agenda of Alliance’ formulated by Mufti Sayed with political partners will also be implemented for the betterment of a sensitive State like Jammu and Kashmir State and from this day onwards a new era of peace and progress will begin, he said.
Coming down heavily on opposition for having failed to deliver during its tenure, Hamid asked it to wait and watch government put its best foot forward now.
