UDHAMPUR: In an attempt to commit suicide, a middle aged person in Chenani, district Udhampur was consumed some poisonous substance.
The person identified as 39 years old Bishan Dass son of Shiv Dass resident of Chenani, consumed some poisonous substance and became unconscious. He was immediately shifted to Chenani Hospital and then to District Hospital Udhampur where his condition is stable.
The Chaneni Police have registered a case for investigation.
Meanwhile, one Anil Kumar son of Girdhari Lal resident of Ward No 2, Katra found hanging at his residence. His body was shifted to hospital for autopsy however police has registered a case under section 174 CrPC.
