Party MLAs OP Sharma and Jagdish Pradhan were led by Leader of Opposition in Delhi Assembly Vijender Gupta and they claimed that 16 important Bills, 52 notifications and many orders and decisions of the government will not stand judicial scrutiny as they were “not approved” by the Constitutional authorities.
“A memorandum was submitted to the Home Minister requesting him to examine Kejriwal government’s deliberate, blatant and tactical violations of crucial provisions of the Constitution of India and GNCTD rules and regulations,” Gupta said.
Referring to the alleged “violations” of thes Constitution and GNCTD rules, he charged the Delhi government with “deliberately and conveniently overlooking” the fact that Delhi being National Capital Territory, has a special status under Article 239AA which is different from other states.
The BJP MLAs also alleged that development in Delhi has come to “standstill” as the AAP government is focused on “one upmanship” with the office of the Lt Governor.
