150 vehicles Challaned for traffic violations

RAJOURI: Witnessing an unprecedented increase in the traffic population in District Rajouri, the management of traffic has become a challenging job for the police.
Sensing the need to discipline the traffic besides routine policing exercise a special drive has been launched by Rajouri Police.
On the directions of SSP Rajouri, Dr. Mohd Haseeb Mughal, with the aim to save the precious lives of human being in frequent road accidents, drive against the use of pressure horn prohibited by the Supreme Court which cause noise pollution in and around the hospitals,
colleges, schools, court
complex and religious places was launched.
Rajouri Police started a special drive against the traffic violators/use of pressure horns in all parts of Rajouri District on daily basis.
As a part of this drive , 150 vehicles were Challaned under sections of MV Act which includes removal of pressure horns, triple riding, driving without helmet, over loading, use of music system etc.
