UDHAMPUR: The State Government on Thursday removed encroachment from 15 Kanal fenced land of Tourism Department located at picturesque Panchari area in District Udhampur by demolition of illegal structure raised on departmental fenced land.
Director Tourism R.K Verma complained about the land encroachment on Tourism Department’s fenced land at Panchari located in Khasra Number 328 by one Gopal Singh, son of Bodh Raj, resident of village Meer. Tehsildar Panchari Narinder Singh provided demarcation of the area.
A team of tourism officers headed by Tariq Hussain Naik, Asstt Director, Tourism and Baharat Bhushan JE with assistance of local police and revenue staff removed encroachment.
