JAMMU: A free Ayurvedic Medical Camp was organised on the occasion of Mahashivratri at Sri Ranbireshwar Mandir Jammu.
In this camp, more than 1,447 patients took the benefit of free medical camp. Experts from Ayurved and Yog from Government Ayurvedic Hospital Jammu rendered there services. Free medicines were distributed on the occasion.
Beneficiaries on the occasion appreciated the efforts of Government Ayurvedic Hospital Jammu for organising such huge camp every year for the benefit of devotees and providing free Ayurvedic medicines.
Speaking on the occasion, Dr Taran Singh Medical Superintendent of Government Ayurvedic Hospital Jammu said that under the leadership of Minister for Health Medical Education, Bali Bhagat, Government Ayurvedic Hospital Jammu intended to take many steps to provide specialised treatment for life style disease, metabolic disorders and many other ailments such as piles, fistulas, fissures, spondilitis, stress related disorders through Panchakarma and Ksharsutra techniques.
He further added that since Ayurvedic Medical Science is evolved and developed in Indians Conditions therefore it is much beneficial for people living in Indians sub continent.
Dr. Rajinder Thappa CMO Government Medical College Jammu provided expert consultation to beneficiaries of the camp.
Doctors, paramedical staff and interns those extended their services during the camp include Dr. Ashok Sharma Senior Medical Officer I/C camp, Dr Sonika, Dr. Charu Khajuria Dr. Sadaf, Dr Azra, Dr Rajni, Dr Divya, Dr Krishan, Mohinder Singh, Sukhil Parvez, Ram Lal, Rajinder Kumar and Satpal.
