Shiksha Niketan accords farewell to outgoing students

JAMMU: The faculty and students of Shiksha Niketan Senior Secondary School, Jeevan Nagar gave a warm send off to the class XII students. The Farewell Party was celebrated with a lot of pomp and show at school campus on Sunday.
A total number of 626 students of class XII were accorded farewell by 654 students of class XI.
Show began with invoking the God with a Ganesh Vandana followed by mesmerising dance performances by the students.
Best Boy and Best Girl were selected by the dignitaries on the bases of their overall performance during the session. 100 per cent attendance awards were given to the deserving students of the school by the Guests, Principal and Incharges.
Rs. 5000 cash awards were given to top three position holders by by the Incharge and faculty members of all the departments.
An award of Rs. 10,000 was announced by V.K Sethi (Ex. CEO) on the behalf of ‘Priyanka Memorial Trust’. The school management announced an award of Rs. 15000 for the first three position holders and Rs. 5000 for all the position holders.
Vinay Gupta BJP General Secretary and V.K Sethi Ex.CEO showered their blessings on the students. Other eminent personalities graced the occasion. Principal Rameshwar Mengi blessed the students with his words and wished them good luck for their exams.
