ANANTNAG: Election Commission of India has approved the shifting of 14 polling stations of three Assembly constituencies of Anantnag District to alternate locations as proposed by the District Election Officer, Anantnag.
Accordingly District Election Officer, Anantnag has ordered for shifting of the 14 polling stations to alternate locations. All the concerned voters are accordingly informed to cast their vote on the relocated/shifted polling stations.
The changed polling stations with new location are Muniward-A and Muniward B to SSA Primary School Muniward of Anantnag constituency.
The polling stations Matihundoo A and Matihundoo B to Government Middle School Matihundoo, Dandipora B to Middle School Dandipora-II building of Kokernag Constituency.
Also the polling station Bijbehara A to Crescent School of Education Ahanger Mohalla, Raki Chee to Rehmat-i-Alam B. Ed College and Bijbehara B, Bijbehara-H to Islamia Higher secondary School Bijbehara-II building, Bijbehara-J to PHE office Bijbehara, Bijbehara-K and Bijbehara-L to Top-N-Town Education Institute of Assembly constituency Bijbehara.
