JAMMU: The Review meeting of J and K State Cooperative Agriculture and Rural Development (JKSA&RD) Bank Limited was taken by the Mushtaq Ahmad (KAS) Registrar, J and K Cooperative Societies at J and K State Cooperative Agriculture and Rural Development Bank Limited, Regional office Jammu.
Mohammad Aslam Bhat, Managing Director/ CEO welcomed the Registrar, J and K Cooperative Societies and thanked him for taking up the review meeting of the bank.
The Managing Director /CEO briefed the Registrar, J and K Cooperative Societies, about the working of the Bank and its present financial health.
The Managing Director /CEO informed the Registrar, J and K Cooperative Societies, about the progress of the Bank and its achievements made during the last three years, thereafter Mohammad lllyas Khawja, General Manager, submitted a brief note about the working of Jammu Province to the Registrar, J and K Cooperative Societies.
The Registrar, J and K Cooperative Societies, sought introduction of all the senior officers of the Bank and R.C. Bhat Senior officer also gave some valuable suggestions to the participants in the meeting.
The Registrar also discussed individually with the District Managers/ Branch Managers, about their progress particularly Deposit Mobilization, Lending, and Recoveries. He took a serious note about recoveries and directed to the Management of the Bank to ensure that Recovery percentage of the Bank should be above 90 per cent and those who fail to achieve the Recovery and Deposit Mobilization Targets be dealt seriously under rules. The Registrar, J&K Cooperative Societies, gave valuable suggestions to the participants and shared his vast experience with them, while dealing the chronic default cases and those pending in the various courts. The Registrar, J and K Cooperative Societies, was pleased to see the satisfactory performance of majority of Branches and appreciated them in the meeting.
The senior officer of the Bank was advised to guide the juniors so that overall working of the institution improves.
