JAMMU: The government on Friday ordered placement of 12 Chief Prosecuting Officers (CPOs) as Incharge Deputy Directors in Prosecution Department. “Sanction is accorded to the placement of the following Chief Prosecuting Officers as Incharge Deputy Directors, in the Prosecution Department, in their own pay and grade, for a period of six months or till the posts are filled up on regular basis on the recommendations of DPC/PSC, whichever is earlier,” reads an order issued by Raj Kumar Goyal, Financial Commissioner/ Additional Chief Secretary, Home Department. Chief Prosecuting Officers who have been placed as Incharge Deputy Directors include Nazir Ahmed Naikoo, Harminder Singh, Kamal Sharma, Suresh Kumar, Prashant Mahajan, Aijaz Hussain, Javaid Ahamad Bhat, Davinder Paul Singh, Mohd. Maqbool Shah, Vikrant Sharma, Ashish Rathore, and Gh. Jeelani Dar.
