11 C-BYTE Trainees made to JKP, Army

JAMMU: District Development Commissioner, Kumar Rajeev Ranjan felicitated 11 candidates of Centres for Border Youth Training and Empowerment (C-BYTE) for their successful selection in J and K Police and Indian Army, the results of which have been declared recently.

Nine candidates out of eleven got selected as constable in JKP rally at Jammu and remaining two in JAKLI army centre at Srinagar.

These candidates were trained in physical and academic hurdles for three months at various C-BYTE centres of district Jammu before appearing for the respective rallies.

Six boys out of selected 11 are from Suchetgarh, two each from Mandal and Khour and one from Arnia.

While distributing medals to the selected candidates, the DDC also Chairman of C-BYTE centres, said that successful boys are the brand ambassadors for C-BYTE who will take this initiative to the door steps of targeted group.

It is pertinent to mention here that 43 candidates have already made to Indian Army since July, 2017 thereby taking the tally to 129 since January, 2016.

Among others the felicitation function was attended by Chief Planning Officer, Girdhari Lal Sharma, Assistant Commissioner Development, M. Latifi Tasir and  Nodal facilitator, Surinder Sharma.
