JAMMU: The Director General of Police Dr S P Vaid on Monday transferred ten Deputy Superintendents of Police (DySPs).
“In the interest of administration and in view of concurrence of the Election Commission of India conveyed through Joint Chief Electoral Officer J&K Jammu vide letter No. 1766/CEO/Elec-MCC 2017/2935-36 dated 25-03-2017, transfer and posting of the ten Deputy Superintendents of Police has been ordered with immediate effect,” an order issued by Police Headquarters said.
As per order, Amritpal Singh, SDPO Nehru Park Srinagar has been transferred and posted as SDPO Shaheed Gunj Srinagar vice Syed Yasir Qadri, who has been posted as DySP PCR Srinagar.
Mohammad Shafiq, Dy SP CID CI Jammu/Samba has been transferred and posted as DySP Headquarters Kulgam vice Ishfaq Alam while Mohammad Aslam, Dy SP PC Magam Handwara has been transferred and posted as Dy SP CID CI Jammu/Samba.
Owais Rashid, Dy SP PCR Srinagar has been transferred and posted as SDPO Nehru Park Srinagar vice Amritpal Singh while Qazi Shamas-ul-Muzaffar, Dy SP AC HG Shopian has been transferred and posted as Dy SP DAR Awantipora vice Mohammad Farooq Reshi, who has been posted as Dy SP JKAP-13th Bn against available Post.
Ishfaq Alam, Dy SP Headquarters Kulgam has been transferred and posted as Dy SP DAR Anantnag vice Muzaffar Ahmad who has been posted in the office of DIG SKR Anantnag against one deputation reserve post of DySP till the date of his superannuation (March 31). Parupkar Singh, DySP 8th Bn has been attached with district Budgam to function DySP PC Budgam vice Bashir Ahmed who is holding additional charge of DySP Traffic Budgam.
