ARNAS: Police on Wednesday arrested a person who was indulging in distilling illicit liquor in Arnas area.
According to a report, a specific information was received at Police Station Arnas that a person namely Onkar Singh son of Mansa Ram resident of Gari Tehsil Arnas District Reasi is indulging in manufacturing of illicit liquor in his house. On this information, a police party led by Inspector Arvind Sambyal, SHO Police Station Arnas conducted raid in the house of Onkar Singh and seized 2½ litres Desi liquor and 20 litres lahan along with all material for preparation of illegal Desi liquor from his house. The accused person was arrested and a case vide FIR No. 34/2016 under section 48-(e) Excise Act was registered at Police Station Arnas.
