SAMBA: A massive plantation drive was conducted today in the premises of J and K SIDCO Industrial Growth Centre, Samba in the presence of Mahamandleshwar Shree Shree Avdhoot Baba Arun Giri Ji, popularly known as Environment Baba, who is currently on the mission of creating huge plantations with on-foot journey from Kashmir to Kanyakumari.
Managing Director J&K SIDCO, Amit Sharma along with Additional Deputy Commissioner Samba Pawan Sharma, Estates Manager Samba Ajit Singh, Jai Parkash Ganga, leading industrialists, prominent citizens and a huge gathering initiated this plantation drive all across IGC Samba with a resolve towards carrying massive plantation across all Industrial Estates of J&K SIDCO.
Environment Baba during his address mentioned about the importance of plantations and the role of trees and oxygen in human lives. He said that he along with his sangathanhave decided to create mass awareness about environmental degradation and they will keep treading the whole nation from Extreme North to Deep South for involving every citizen in this noble cause of trees plantation. Pertinent to mention that Environment Baba is getting ample support from all nooks and corners and this mission falls in line with primary mission of “Paryavaran Sangrakshan” of both Centre and state governments.
Amit assured Baba and his team that J and K SIDCO will leave no stone unturned for creating green belts in all industrial estates and it is already doing lot of efforts in this direction.
