New Delhi: Ambedkar Gupta, President, Amateur Karate Do Association of Jammu and Kashmir (AKAJK) has been nominated by Karate Association of India (KAI) for Accredited Coach license by World Karate Federation.
This accreditation will authenticate him to represent the country as coach in all world level karate championships.
Nomination/Selection Letter issued by General Secretary of Karate Association of India, KAI and approval of WKF for his nomination was received by Ambedkar Gupta here on Sunday
Ambedkar Gupta will appear in the examination to be held in the 23rd WKF World Senior Karate Championship to be held at Linz, Austria from 26th to 30th October, 2016.
His license as WKF coach will help all the players of our state and instructors to grow in this sport because we spend lakhs of rupees in inviting WKF coaches from outside state and all over the country to train our players.
It is pertinent to mention that he is the only person who has achieved and represented J and K at such level in the field of karate.
