RAMBAN: District Development Commissioner Ramban F.A Shah Bukhari on Tuesday convened a meeting to review arrangements being made in connection with annual Shri Amarnath Ji Yatra 2015.
SSP Ramban, SSP Traffic NHW, ADC, ACR, CMO, Tehsildars and district officers of different departments, prominent citizens and representatives of different agencies and Langer Committees attended the meeting.
It was informed in the meeting that all arrangements have been put in place for smooth passage of Yatra through Ramban DISTRICT.
DDC directed all the officers especially those who are related with the maintenance of roads from Patnitop to Jawahar tunnel to avoid any kind of difficulty for smooth passage of vehicles during Yatra season. The concerned Police officers were instructed to act promptly for avoiding any traffic jam in the area which may discomfort the pilgrims.
