All absconding accused be arrested immediately: SSP Samba Benam Tosh to IOs

SAMBA: Senior Superintendent of Police Samba, Benam Tosh has directed all the investigating officers (I.Os) and supervisory officers to ensure that all accused, who are absconding in various cases registered & proved against them, be arrested immediately and put behind bars.

SSP Samba Benam Tosh  conducted  crime review meeting with Addl SP Samba, all SDPOs / supervisory officers, all SHOs & I/C PPs  of District Samba at Conference Hall DPO Samba and issued directions to all Police officers concerned with the investigation to ensure that  perpetrators  of crimes, especially those wanted in terror-related cases, theft cases, murder and attempt to murder cases, rape /molestation cases, narcotics & drugs smuggling , bovine smuggling etc. are not given time to remain at large and are apprehended forthwith.

Deputy Director Prosecution Pawan Khajuria, Addl SP Samba Surinder Choudhary, DySP Hqrs Mohd Usman, SDPO Vijaypur Priyanka Kumari, SDPO Bari Brahmana Rahul Nagar,  Deputy SP Garu Ram, CPO Javed Khwaja, Sr.PO Ravinder Kumar, Sr.PO Jaswant Raj among all SHOs & Chouki Officers attended the crime review meeting.

The main purpose of the meeting was to expedite the process of investigation in each case and to clear pendency of all under investigation cases. During the meeting, cases registered at all the police stations of district Samba were discussed in detail and directions were issued to bring investigation in all pending cases to logical conclusion at the earliest, especially old pending cases.

Supervisory officers were directed to conduct thorough investigation covering all aspects in consultation with learned prosecution officers so that conviction rate is increased. All the Police Officers were directed to make all out efforts to prevent and detect crimes.
