JAMMU: Asha Kiran Welfare Society, Janipur Colony, in collaboration with Baba Lal Ji Charitable Dispensary on Sunday organised a free medical camp in Baba Lal Ji Hall Janipur Colony, here.
The camp was inaugurated by Hem Raj Sharma, Executive Member and social activist.
In the camp, the specialist doctors provided their services to examine as many as 250 patients and free medicines were provided to them. The doctors who rendered their services include Dr. Mukesh Sharma, Dr. Swarn Singh Katoch, Physician Specialist, Dr. Bharti Sarangal, Eye Surgeon, Dr. Shabir, Dr. Ajay Kotwal and Dr. Ravi Parihar, Child Specialist, Dr. Monika Khajuira, ENT, Dr. Vikrant Sharma and Dr. Arpan Badyal, Ortho, Dr. Anubhav Khajuira and Dr. Sushen Gupta, Dentist.
Besides, a team of Aryuvedic Doctors, Dr. Sanjay Kumar Pandita, Dr. K.K Dubey, assisted by Tara Chand and Sansar Chand Senior Pharmacist (ISM) and Jeet Raj, Nursing Orderly and Right Concept of Marketing (RCM) team headed by Ram Krishan Rana, Nutrition Expert alongwith S.R Rathore, Mohammad Davood, Ashish and Rakesh Thapha (Sewa Bharti) also provided their services.
Pankaj Parihar, Medical Rep of Pharmed Ltd., Amit Abrol MR (Wallace Co.) and Ajay Gupta (Madhu Medical Hall), Anti Crime Team Jammu (NGO) and Swami Vivekanand Medical Hospital, Amphalla Jammu provided free medicines for the camp.
Deepak Gupta, Mohan Lal, Surinder Bamotra, Vinod Arora and Gareeb Dass also provided their services in the camp.
The office bearers and members of the society who rendered their volunteer services in organising and making the camp successful were Dr. J.P Gupta, Chairman, Ved Chibber, President, Jaswant Manhas, Acting Vice President, Kamal Nater Gupta, General Secretary, Hari Chand Sharma, Romesh Lal, Romesh Chander Gupta, Surinder Sharma, Rajan Honda, Hari Chand, Raj Kumar and Subash.
“In future the society will organise more such camps and hope that various organisations would come forward and provide their services to make the people aware about their life style,” General Secretary of the Society said.
