JAMMU: Asha Kiran Welfare Society (AKWS) Janipur Colony on Monday distributed different ration items to more than one hundred poor persons and widows.
Blankets were distributed to forty widows in presence of Dr. J.P Gupta, Chairman of the Society.
Those who were present on the occasion included Kamal Netar (General Secretary), Ashok Kumar (Cashier), Anil Kohli (Publicity Secretary), Hari Chand Sharma (Joint Secretary), Vinod Kumar (Organising Secretary), Yash Pal Nanda, Subash Dutta, Pawan Kumar Gupta, Raj Kumar Gupta and Munish Banotra.
Dr. J.P. Gupta advised to all the members/widows to wear masks, keep social distance to each other and frequently washing of hands with soap/some sanitizer for
protection from COVID-19 pandemic problem.
