JAMMU: All India Mahajan Phawa Biradari on Sunday organised a conference of office bearers and representatives of Sub Castes (Biradari) of Mahajan community in the premises of Baba Kailkhnath ji Mandir Bantalab Jammu to get recently constituted Akhil Bhartiye Mahajan Biradari Sangh (ABMBS) formally inaugurated.
This organization is a Confederation of Mahajan subcastes and is constituted with the aim to create unity, amity and understanding amongst the members of the Mahajan community. The conference is presided over by the social activist Mahesh Gupta.
The programme started with the three-time recitation of sacred Gayatri Mantra.
After lighting of lamp and offering floral tributes to the founder of ABMSS, Sher e Duggar Lala Hans Raj Mahajan, Pawan Gupta, President All India Mahajan Phawa Biradari welcomed all the office bearers and representatives of Mahajan Biradaris present in the conference and appraised them about the purpose and need of forming a nation level organization namely ABMBS. After introduction of all the participants, Mahesh Gupta formally inaugurated the ABMBS. All the participants took pledge to strengthen and serve ABMBS with the best of their efforts and resources. While addressing the gathering, Mahesh Gupta presented his heartiest gratitude to all the teams of Mahajan Biradaris who unconditionally consented to be part of ABMBS.
He informed the house about the e launching of eagerly awaited “Mahajanganana” website at the earliest. He appraised the house about the objectives and future plans of ABMBS.
The Mahajan Biradaris who consented to be member of ABMBS are Aflar, Bandoria, Baria, Bhangwathia, Bhatiyari, Beotra, Bucha, Chandra, Chunna Mahotra, Chapata, Feria, Ghou, Ghunkadu, Gadhera, Jandial, J. Jandial, Jugenal, Kabotra, Kailu, Kalsotra, Kanghal, Kankal, Karvkhal, Khameriya, Lakhotra, Lamme Radotra, Langer, Ledhe, Madhuria, Manglooria, Mehta, Mohtra, Paba, Pabba, Pachyala, Padotra, Pandi, Parbhaga, Pargaal, Paroch, Pedhe, Phagetra, Phawa, Piddoo, Regra, Rohmetra, Swar and Vaid.
Harinder Gupta, a supporter of ABMBS, in the vote of thanks, applauded the meticulous efforts of Mahesh Gupta in constituting the much needed ABMBS and thanked all those Mahajan Biradaris who extended their whole hearted support to formulate ABMBS. Ram Langer, active promoter of ABMBS conducted the proceedings of the conference. Messers Rakesh Mahajan, Darshan Pargal, Suman K Gupta, Lalit Mahajan, Sham Langer, Manohar Gupta and Rakesh Gupta were also present.
