Ajatshatru chairs Rajput Charitable Trust board meeting

JAMMU: Former Cabinet Minister and Member Legislative Council, M.K Ajatshatru Singh took stock of the various social activities being pursued by the Rajput Charitable Trust in a board meeting held here on Saturday.
Singh lauded the dedication of the members of the trust. He was presented with a detailed report of various activities being pursued.
He asked the members to identify more deserving candidates of the community who require any sort of help from the trust. He specifically wanted the trust to help poor students, widows, physically challenged, and other destitute to lead a respectable life. He also called upon the members of the community to come out with some innovative programme for the trust so that its role can be made more meaningful for the community members.
The members of the trust requested the President, Ajatshatru Singh to visit various districts of the State to get a first hand information about the hardships being faced by the community members so that a proper strategy is designed to mitigate the problems being faced by the community in the State. Singh expressed his desire to tour the State along with the board members of the trust so that the activities of the trust are broad-based.
Rajkumar Ranvijay Singh also attended the meeting and expressed his keenness to work for the community. He assured his full support and active participation in the future pursuits of the trust. The board meeting of the trust was attended by a number of members prominent being P.S Pathania, Prof. Ajay Kotwal, and advocate Ajay Gandotra.
C.L Malhotra, Administrator DPS, gave a detailed presentation about the present status of affairs of the trust.
