JAMMU: A blood donation camp was organised by J and K State AIDS Control Society on the last day of the Mega Health Mela being organised by the Directorate of Health Services Jammu at Basohli.
Dr. Mohan Singh Project Director J&K State Aids Control Society followed SDM Basohli and other officers of the District Administration, Kathua donated blood. The women doctors of Health and Medical Education Department also donated blood voluntarily for setting an example for the female folk of the area.
A team of doctors and paramedics from Blood Bank GMC Jammu under the supervision of Dr. Vijay Sawhney HoD Blood Bank provided all the technical support for making the camp successful. Approximately 100 units of blood were collected during the camp
