REASI: A Kisan Goshthi was organised by Department of Agriculture Distt. Reasi at Committee Hall Arnas under NMAET (ATMA) Scheme. The programme was inaugurated by Distt. Agri Officer (Ext.) Dharmari Rajesh Verma while Asstt. Soil Conservation Officer Dharmari Deepak Singh, Dy. Project Director ATMA R.K Khosa, Sarpanch Kauthan Sansar Singh and 2/C AEO Mallote Sh. Anil Thakur were also present on the occasion. They delivered lectures on different subjects related to activities of Department. More than 60 farmers from Arnas and other adjoining Panchayats attended the Kisan Goshthi.
Rajesh Verma enjoined upon the farmers to get benefit of the departmental schemes so that their income can be enhanced. He stressed upon them to go for agro-based activities like mushroom cultivation, agriculture, organic production. Deepak Singh demonstrated about the use of pheromone traps.
