SRINAGAR: The AFC Horizan, Islamic University (IU) Awantipora among three teams won their respective matches to strengthen their positions in the ongoing Annual Football League Tournament, organised by J and K Football Association at TRC ground, here on Thursday.
In the first match of the day, AFC Horizan defeated Khayam Football Club 2-0 while IU Awantipora blanked Athwajan FC 4-0. In another scheduled tie, Alamdar FC Gopalpora trounced Bilalia Sports, Soura 3-0.
