JAMMU: On the auspicious occasion of Mahashivratri, Advocate S.K Raina performed Rudra Abhishek with Char Pahar Ki Puja at his residence, Indira Vihar here on Friday.
The Puja started with Ganesh Vandana and Aarti followed by distribution of Prasad to devotees. Thereafter, Panch Sanan was done with recitation of Bhagwan Shiva Mantras which was preceded by Rudra Abhishek, Shiv Manas Puja, Shiv Tandav Strotam, Lingastikam, BiIwastikam, Mahimna Strotam, Shiv Panchsar Strotam, Dwadish Jyoti Lingam, Rudrastikam, Visvanath Asstikam, Shiv Apradh Khamapan Strotam and Aarti.
Panch Sanan was done four times with Vedic Vidhi and Pusp Archana and Prasad was served among devotees.
Mahakal Rudra Puja is being visited by hundred of devotees daily.
Advocate S.K Raina had been performing this Puja Archana on Sundays between 6:00 PM to 2:30 AM for the last one decade.
“No money is being charged from any devotee for participating in the Puja Archana,” he said.
Raina appealed to general public to participate in such auspicious Puja on every Sunday without any charges for the preservation of Shivism.
