‘Adopt cashless transaction in all economic activities’

JAMMU: Advocate Chander Mohan Sharma, senior BJP leader and Convenor of Namami Gange Mission, stressed upon the need of adopting cashless transaction in all the economic activities.
While addressing activists here on Tuesday, Sharma said that the cashless dealing is not new to Indian society but an old tradition prevalent in rural India where food grains were being exchanged against service rendered by the craft men and the sellers of the house hold items used by the people at large. He reminded that even during Janata regime in 1975-76 where ‘food for work’ scheme had worked successfully. BJP State In-charge IT and Social Media, Jaidev Rajwal gave details of the procedure to be adopted for starting over cashless transactions by using their mobile phone, debit or credit cards and also explained the method of using Aadhar for banking purpose. He gave demonstration to the members of Namami Gange and Tawi Andolan.
Earlier, Jaidev Rajwal was hounoured by presentation of traditional Gamsha by Govind Sareen who is Convenor of Cultural and Sports Cell of BJP. Others who were present in the meeting include Purshotam Chander Sharma, Subash Gupta, Surinder Sharma, Ramesh Gupta, Pardeep Baru, Ram Prasad, Naresh Bala, Kanav Sharma, Neelam Mahajan, Sunita Kundal and Ravi Sharma.
